| Butterflies go through an amazing process called a metamorphosis. That means they change as they grow. The female lays eggs, the egg hatches and a caterpillar comes out. It is very hungry so it eats a lot and grows bigger and bigger. It goes into the 3rd stage called the pupa. Finally inside the pupa it changes into a beautiful butterfly. This is the 4th stage. The cycle then begins all over again. This informational paragraph has a clear intro. the paragraph follows a logical sequence.
